I found little info on it, but it appeared to be such a beautiful little piece of tech that I ordered one. Anyone try one of these? It has a small battery or can be wired. Slick.

I've never heard of them. I took a peek at the original kickstarter, and read the reviews on amazon. Odd that there's only 2. Most of the info I found online is pretty old. Mr. Mobile did mention it in his review of best wireless chargers though.

Yeah I did the same search. It appears a pretty cool thing. I’ll post how it is. It arrives Monday. Looks pretty nice doesn’t it?

My issue is that wireless charging is already inefficient. There is already power loss with charging from a battery backup, so I'm curious just how much your phone can actually charge from the battery in the wireless charger. OTOH, it could be a "lifesaver" if you charge you phone each night and lose power one night -- it would ensure you phone still recharges overnight. Personally, I prefer just to use a standard portable battery pack, rather than needing a larger battery to be able to wirelessly charge.

I have gone through so many cables. I’m excited about wireless charging and couldn’t care less about efficiency. Convenience rules my world.
