Is it a little wider than the 8, or just taller?

A little, but not much. I think I compared them on phonearena's comparison chart and the difference was the X being .14 inches wider than the 8.

Yeah, it's a huge difference from the 8. I wish I still had my 7 Plus to post a comparison shot, but I traded it in for the S8+. It's the only other large screen phone I have right now.

The actual display may be the same width, but the phone itself is wider. I put my 8 on top of my X and the X is a little wider than my 8.

Most Youtube review videos I've seen all show the 'Sliver' version. Great to see some 'Space Gray' colours out there. Its looking so shiny and beautiful. Did you get a case or are you using it naked?

I’ve been a plus user since the 6 came out and I absolutely love the bigger screen in a smaller form factor.

How is it compared to the plus models. I’m coming from a 7 Plus.

It’s smaller.
The display is beautiful, but it’s steeper and not as wide as the Plus. As for the battery life, nothing beats the Plus models.

I LOVE the look of the Space Gray with the coated Stainless Steel.
I have it on a black Apple leather case and I should be receiving a screen protector next week too.
