Re: iPhone X Cases

I have a symmetry (clear) and have no issues with scratching. I think with any case if theres something inside that might can cause rubbing then sure it can scratch, but I'm not sure I would discount the Symmetry because one person said it scratched the phone. There have been more folks who have advised they have no issues.

I️ don’t see markings through the case. I don’t want to remove it to check because then I️ have to put it back on and risk it a second time.

Can anyone else give their input on the Symmetry? I️ know some of you have purchased those cases.

I also have an Otterbox Symmetry in black - I've been using it since the day I got my X and it has been on and off multiple times. No damage at all. I'm not sure what caused those scratches, but I don't think it was the case.

Re: iPhone X Cases

For those of you who've used apple silicone cases, how would say the protection is, in a general sense (perhaps a drop or bumping into something)

I'm thinking of picking up an apple case (usually use spigen cases, which I like) but really want to try an apple case for the X.

The silicone case would protect from minor drops and what not, but it is pretty thin so I wouldn't put too much trust into it protecting from drops more then a few feet.

I dropped my 6s from chest high onto a concrete floor and it was ok.

I also dropped it in my leather case about 20 feet sitting in some bleachers, but luckily whatever it landed on was fairly soft. Case was nicked up pretty good though.

they aren't Otterbox but they do protect the phone, much better than nothing at all!
