Re: iPhone X Cases

I got my milky way cases...they aren’t fancy but they’re cute and keep my phone from getting scratched up. I stopped by expensive cases in favor of these because they’re cute and cheap so I don’t feel guilty when I swap out my phone every year and maybe have to start over. //uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20171103/d1398812fffc197b35297e6926457d1a.jpg

I didn’t know about these cases before I saw your post. I told myself I wouldn’t buy more than 5 cases for this phone, but I just ordered 3 Milky Way cases.

iPhone X Cases

My black  leather case seems extremely slippery, especially compared to my older plus cases which seem almost rubbery — in a good grippy way, due to age and use, I’m sure. I just don’t recall the other ones being so slippery, ever.

I’m hoping that the grippiness will happen to this case after a while. 🤞🏼

Re: iPhone X Cases

You got this one? Looks thick or not? Tossing up between it and the UAG Monarch Sapphire, both same price.

I did. It's a little thicker I think that say the Rhino bumper I had on my 7 but considering it has a piece of leather on the back of TPU and the phone itself is thicker I mean we're talking very minimal. I actually put them side by side earlier and put a straight edge on top and the crashguard bumper on my 7+ was just slightly below the height. It's nowhere near as thick as say a 6s generation of the Otterbox commuter or a 7 version of the Fre that I tested for a bit. It's listed as having a 10 foot drop rating though.

I'm guessing they will put out a non-rugged leather case at some point if you want something thinner. They have them for the 7/8's. This one is definitely not thin like an Apple case. Of course it's not supposed to be either, it's the "rugged" model :) I haven't seen a Monarch in person but I'd bet they're the same size based on the UAG folio I have on my iPad and Plasma cases I've seen in stores for iPhones.

It's not a great angle but here's a few pics of it on the phone I posted in a different thread https://forums.imore.com/showthread.php?t=393719&p=3008448&viewfull=1#post3008448

My product red  leather isn’t slippery at all, very grippy, I tried on the saddle brown and it was beautiful but way too slippery, that’s one reason I chose the product red.

Re: iPhone X Cases

I currently rock the black Apple leather case with my Space Grey X.
Should I get a midnight blue or saddle brown next? :p

Re: iPhone X Cases

I have their Symmetry in black for my X and love it. I have 2more cases on the way and got an Apple Silicone today when I picked up my phone (Cobalt Blue). I like the Apple case but the Symmetry is the best.

I got the white and cobalt blue. I like the white for the contrast though I do miss the white face plate!

midnight blue is nice but think about the cobalt which is a lighter blue (but not "baby blue"). saddle brown is really nice over time... i need to pick one of those up (wanting red silicone too)

Ive noticed that too. My X is grippier WITHOUT the case.

I hope you like them! The site has so many pages of choices. I even got a customized one as a bridal shower gift for someone. Like I said they’re nothing fancy but they are cute and cheap.

iOttie holders are popular and people seem to like them based on the reviews and people I know that have them.

I haven’t used the wireless charge cradle but have a standard iOttie holder and it works great. I will definitely look into the wireless version.
