Hey guys, anyone that preordered from Best Buy received their iPhone box opened? The phone itself still has the wrap around the front and everything was in tack, I was just surprised to see the box unwrapped.

Isinstock worked for a few days for me and then stopped. I still got mine but just pointing that out.

I would recommend just checking your Apple App Store for availability at certain time in the morning if you’re hunting for a phone. Some people recommend checking at 6AM while others suggested earlier than that but in our area, 7AM is the sweet spot. I have 2 friends that I recommended this trick who did not pre-order and was able to get their phone on the 2nd day of trying . My other friend was able to do it on the 1st try. True that you don’t get the convenience of getting notified but you get more success in doing it this way.

I already got mines. I was just mentioning them for others who have yet to get their hands on one. They have instant notifications via email and text. And yes you are right first thing in the morning at 6am is the sweet spot.

I caved... looked up local Apple store inventory and they had a space gray 64GB X... placed order online... picking up now at Apple Store. Waited like 5 minutes.

Ordered mine over the phone with AT&T since 17th November on Friday. They haven’t even attempted to ship it. Still no progress from almost a week ago!!! Been without a phone and stuck with this iPad for a month now!!!!

Unfortunately the nearest Apple store is 90 minutes away. I’m fine with waiting since I’ll be traveling the next few weeks for work.
