    I’m thinking the 4.7 iPhone 8 is basically the new SE. It’s the smallest iPhone currently available and is a little behind the newer models in terms of specs. It seems to be the obvious choice for SE fans who need a new phone. Am I crazy?
    I think you're correct.
    I went with the iPhone X. Not bad and about as big as I want to go.

    The SE will eventually be too outdated to use. Then what? At least the 8 will get you a few more years of service. I don’t see Apple going back to a small phone. I didn’t think we would get to the point where 5.8 was their smallest phone this soon.
