iOS 10 is really optimized to work best with the 6s, 6s Plus, 7, and 7 Plus. IMHO all devices without 3D/Force Touch will see price drops possibly significant. While iOS 10 works with 6, 6 Plus, SE, 5, 5s...u lose a lot of features.

Yeah, I can believe you on this. I still think the update will probably be worth it though for my SE. I'm more excited to "delete" most of the stock apps over anything else.
