iPhone SE volume stuck on Headphone

Set up new SE and stuck on headphone. Turn volume up or down and the pop up says headphone. Wiped phone twice, shut it off & on and nothing no volume. Plug in headphones and I can hear everything thru headphones. Anyone have a fix, don't want to have to send back.

You might have something (metal, water, lint, etc.) stuck in the headphone jack. A few things to try:
1. Blow in it for a moment or used compressed air
2. Plug in & unplug your headphones 5 or 6 times.
3. Try to clear it out using a vacuum.
