Who here is purchasing there phone from best buy? I have a $500 gift card and am curious if I'll be able to walk in on the 31st at 10am and walk out with my phone?

I don't see why you wouldn't be able to, as long as they have stock. For me, the apple store will be where I am going, since I want to do a trade in.

I think your chances will be good. I'll hopefully be walking into my cellular provider on the 31st and walking out with an SE. I did that with the 6 and had no issue. I live in a small town so very good chance of getting what I want with my provider.

I had no idea they did but you are probably right on the kind of trade in. Need the kind that gets rid of my 5s and some hundreds off of the new SE. Lol

If BestBuy sold unlocked phones they would of made a mint from myself and my fiance' over the last several years. We only buy unlocked phones.

Yeah if I wind up getting the iPhone SE, I'll definitely be going to Apple for a trade in. I could trade in my iPhone 5s and get the iPhone SE for $10/month, which winds up taking $160 off the total for the SE. If I tried selling my 5s on Swappa or eBay, after their fees and everything, I'd only wind up getting around that much for it anyway.

Yes bestbuy usually charges more, ask for a manager and ask for a price match. A regular employee will say they cant on new cell phones, but a manager will approve it. Done it several times.

Wow, not going to happen for me. Thanks for the knowledge! Like Sherry said, I love unlocked phones so I'll rather drive 25 more minutes to the apple store over best buy.
