With this new phone being so affordable, and someone with no background to buying an unlocked phone, I would like some insight on whether or not Metro PCS would be compatible with this phone so I can purchase it. It should be if anything, at least from what I take it by researching. If my presumptions are correct, would I just go to the nearest store, ask for a SIM card, have it activated, put inside the phone, and be on my way? It's one of those seems-to-easy scenarios that's why I ask for some validations for any experienced buyers. Thank you.

Suggest you chat with Metro PCS before you buy the SE. Emphasis on chat vs a phone call.

    Welcome to iMore!

Yes it will. The list of carriers that support the SE includes T-Mobile, and MetroPCS is part of that company and uses that same network.
