BeWeather v3 (Beta) for iPhone

This is a lot of the default wind icons. I wasn't seeing these before the update.

@pfluger
Do you have a weather icon list for our custom sets, so default icons don't have to be used?

At this time BeWeather 3 needs the following images in the custom weather icon sets:

sunny
sunnyn
rain
snow
sleet
wind
fog
cloudy
partlycloudy
partlycloudyn
tstorms
tstormsn

Re: BeWeather v3 (Beta) for iPhone

I'm a bit confused by the default wind icon showing on the custom weather sets. Other apps show cloudy or showers, while I see wind on my custom set in BeWeather. Does wind overide all other weather conditions? And at what wind speed does the wind icon show? It's showing it at 14 to 16 mph. That seems too low for the wind icon. I don't have a way to insert a wind icon in my custom set, and the default wind icon looks out of place.

I don't like the 11mph wind (default icon) forecast taking over my Custom weather set. Can we go back to the way it was.

I'm not sure 11mph wind should prompt the wind icon to appear. Maybe 25mph wind would be a better gauge.

I would only want to see a wind icon, if wind speeds were 25 mph or more. But with severe weather, I'd rather see icons that fit those severe conditions. Below 25 mph winds, I'd rather see "cloudy", "showers", or whatever conditions it is.

I agree and there is a difference between "breezy" and "windy". I didn't update my iPad BeWeather Beta to the latest version and I like the look of my Custom set icons and would rather see them on a breezy day.

I agree and would like it to go back to the old way also. Inserting the default icon just looks strange.

For new icon sets it is nice to have more icons.

Also, the rain graph in the widget does not show the same level of rain as the app. See pictures:

This is true for me as well. Not a big deal though. At least it's working. Might be difficult to make them look exactly the same.

Mine only shows up when rain level is high. But in the widget it then only shows a very small amount. When rain level is light it does not show up at all in the widget.
@pfluger Maybe there is some rain level calibration offset that is incorrect for the widget? This seems like the issue.

Re: BeWeather v3 (Beta) for iPhone

I received another alert. But I don't think it is making a sound (I have sound turned on).

Is anyone else receiving a sound with their alerts?

I don‘t recall if it made an alert sound. Having sounds toggled on in the phone settings doesn't mean one is available. Maybe @pfluger can tell us more.

This is the difference I saw.
