I downloaded pokemon GO on my ipod but it keeps saying "no GPS signal found"

Please make sure in Settings > Privacy > Location Settings the toggle for Pok?mon Go is green (enabled)

iPods do have GPS. I can play Pok?mon Go with my iPod Touch on wi-fi. But I get "GPS signal not found" a lot. I did follow the other instructions but that setting was already in place.

iPods do NOT have GPS receivers in them... Nor do wifi only iPads. The app works when the wifi node you're connected to has good location data associated with it in the database the device's wifi location services uses to guesstimate your device's location. You can get GPS receivers for iPods and wifi only iPads that connect via Bluetooth or the Lightning or 30 pin port that gives the device GPS location data.
