How do i capture my pokemon in the beginning

What do I click I can't move around I see three pokemon and my avatar and a blueish green screen

You would tap one of the 3 Pok?mon to capture one. The servers were having issues earlier which prevented a lot of activity. Give it a try another time. Also, if you ignore the first 3 Pok?mon 4 times, you'll get a chance at a Pikachu.
