I cannot watch You Tube videos on Safari on my iMac. It says that I don't have a supported format. Any ideas?

Yes, El Capitan 10.11.6 beta with Safari 10.0. It was working until a couple of days ago. Maybe it has something to do with the beta.

Most likely the beta. You should try using another browser such as chrome or revert to a non beta version of safari

Check Safari / Preferences - Extensions. Make sure you don't have an Extension installed that may be preventing Flash to stream video. Also, if you have antivirus software installed, try disabling that then restart your Mac. I came across the situation the other day where a user had Virus Barrier installed and couldn't stream Flash content. Once they adjusted a setting in their VB preferences, they were able to view videos.
