Why doesn't my music app no longer work?

music app no longer works

When I open the music app all I get Is a picture of a girl listening to music with headphones. I think this has something to do with signing up for APPLE MUSIC which I have not done and do not want to. I do not want apple rearranging my music. HELP!!

Welcome to iMore! Look on that screen. Do you see in small print where it says "Go to my music"? Tap on that.
Also, have you toggled Apple Music off in Settings > Music?
