I like Evernote, but I do NOT like the fact that on my iPhone, the app opens up in the Settings screen (see attachment)... and that I need to manually click on 'Notes' (red circle).
I would very much like to see an option to open the app directly in 'Notes' by default.

    - Is this possible?
I remember this was the main reason for me to get annoyed 2 years ago, and leaving Evernote... switching back to Apple Notes, however I do want to get back to Evernote but prefer not to run into the same annoyance again.
(I'm actually quite surprised - by the looks of it - it hasn't changed in the meantime)

I can't seem to duplicate the issue on my iPhone 6 Plus (iOS 9.1). As you can see, my notes do not show up in the "Settings" section.

Well, apparently you HAVE the exact same issue... since your homescreen shows the exact same info.
I think you misunderstood for some reason.
When I launch Evernote, I want to jump DIRECTLY into my Notes, without having to click on the 'Notes' button every time.
    - You have the same issue as I have... that's obvious from your pic.

So my question remains the same; does anyone know how to jump right into the 'Notes' screen by default... and skip the homescreen?

Yep, I clearly misunderstood your OP, and no, I do not in regard to your question. Sorry.
