I noticed that if you look in the unread tab it gives you some threads but then says no topic. If you click on it then it opens a thread. Anyone else see this? I'm running latest beta for iOS and Tapatalk

I get that too. Reported it to them. Also in the forums tab, it doesn't work.
If you tap to go back to the TapaTalk Home page, then tap iMore, they show up.

I think it was wallpapers with the larger resolution size. Seems ok now.

I tried Tapatalk a few years ago when I was keeping up with several message boards, but today there's only two sites I keep up with, this one and a Honda Accord site. Is the app as bad as I'm reading?

Not any more. It's ok now. 2 years ago it was horrible. No one liked what they did. But it's way better now. Give it a try.
