iMore app and iMore forums app

This may be kind of a silly question, but is it redundant to use the regular iMore app and the iMore forums app? Right now I just use the regular app and am posting to the forums that way. I'm asking because I am not sure if the forums app has something that might add to the ease of posting (it's pretty easy now). Thanks in advance and feel free to point and laugh if it's a silly question.

Access to the forum is a recent new feature to the iMore app. Not sure how many people use it but I prefer to keep them separate
