Where would you suggest it get its weather data from? Any source other than setting up a completely new weather sensors/data/etc is going to be a source used by some other app. All weather apps basically pull data from one (or more) limited datasets.

Could not have said it better myself.

Very disappointing Beweather2, gets it's weather data from Weather Underground. Basically the same app.

It all comes from the National Weather Service. I like that BeWeather 2 is basically Weather Underground on steroids. I like Weather Underground. But BeWeather does so much more with customization. Yahoo Weather and The Weather Channel get their weather from the same place. So what? If you can't see a difference in the two apps, you're not looking very hard.

I like the app. I guess I expected another source for weather. I was surprised it was WU.

You can set it to an airport and get the weather info that many other weather apps get. I like the personal weather stations. They're closer to home.

For me, using WU is a big plus.
Getting the current weather conditions from the neighborhood weather station (in my case) is more accurate than the airport which is miles away.
Luckily, the operator of ours is Johnny-on-the-Spot.
Good Luck

I went back to the released version because no matter how many widget sections I used, the beta widget was unstable on my 5s. Not sure why but I was able to use 5 sections on the released version

Spencerdl,

How are you able to customize the "current conditions" widget?

I have a couple of "custom" sets. You can go into the Weather Icons area and click on "Custom" (upper right corner) this area allows you to insert a custom set with a "BWI" code.

I still need to email her about mine.

At one time or another I've had approx 60 different Custom BeWeather sets from many different artists dating back to my Blackberry 8330 days. I wish I could use them on BeWeather 2 but the format is different than Blackberry and Android, and I don't have the ability to make my own "bwi" format for the Apple version of BeWeather 2.
Maybe in a future update we will be able to purchase sets that already have the proper "bwi" code. I'm still not sure why there are Blackberry sets in the line up on an Apple device.... They should be changed to Apple weather sets... IMHO
