Been very happy with the Feedly & Pocket combo and really like the remove clutter option in Feedly, helps get thru articles faster and end up saving fewer to Pocket to read later !

Neither. I use Pulse for my news. I don't care for the social media approach to my news. Pulse works great for me.

Pulse is owned by LinkedIn. I've never used the app version of Pulse, but it definitely spams my LinkedIn feed on the web.
Yeah, I had issues keeping my log in for Pulse without the LinkedIn. I don't do LinkedIn. I had Pulse before it became LinkedIn Pulse. How does it Spam your LinkedIn?

I been using Feedly since Google Reader crashed and burned.
The reason I went to Feedly is because it offered a Web site as well as iPhone and iPad apps.
At that time, you couldn't access Flip board on the web.

And it is great.
Good Luck

Flipboard is very nice but I won't use Feedly. I use Ziner, which is so much better. And for news, actually the new MSN suite is awesome. Seriously.
