1. Have you determined your target market? Who is likely to use your app?

2. Just because it is free, it doesn't mean that people are going to flock to it. Have you tried advertising in your area? Have you tried talking to educators in your area to see if they'd use it in their history classes?

3. Have you tried to get your app reviews by tech bloggers?
