It's like you have a separate identity. One for the Tapatalk app, and whatever your user name is on the forums.
Just keep a note as to what your passwords are.
The Tapatalk app is like any other app you download.

I logged out of the Tapatalk app. And when I logged back in, I was still logged into the forum.
I don't see a way to log out of the forums, so it is a bit confusing.
Sorry, if I wasn't much help.

Love Tapatalk pro. I like the ability to change to the night and dark themes. I spend a lot of time on Tapatalk and enjoy the black themes. Saves battery compared to the glaring white. Try it and you will love it.

My bad. I just realized, I don't have pro. I had it with Android.
My apologies, you're correct, I am loading pro now.
But to be truthful, I thought I bought the pro version in IOS.

I downloaded the Tapatalk app yesterday for the first time. I have a couple questions. First, my username is highlighted underneath the forum name. Does that mean that I'm still logged into that forum. I tried logging out, but it's different than the iMore app.

Yes that's the username you're signed into. The main login is the tapatalk login which stores all or your forum logins

I either just use Safari or the iMore Forums app. I used to use Tapatalk, but their current requirement of creating an account with them just really turned me off to it. Plus, what is the difference between the old paid version and the now Pro version? A quick look on their forums, and whatever rep decided to jump into the conversation provided more questions than answers. Really not a helpful place. So, since I rarely read forums on my iPhone anyway, I'll stick with dedicated apps for the places I visit or use Safari.
