TheScore and espn are tied for my favourite sports app that support push notifications. But when it's world juniors time my favourite app is the IIHF app.

I prefer no ads, too, but they aren't too bad on this app unlike the ESPN ScoreCenter app where the ads scroll and then reappear in the center of the screen.

Yeah I feel the same way. I've tried several but always come back to the pro version of Yahoo Sports. No ads.

My vote goes for ESPN SportsCenter. This app has neat interface, easy to navigate and it never failed me. The info is updated very fast and it doesn't bother you with unnecessary news.
