Is it possible to add applications to the notification list? I want to use Weatherbug for weather alerts, etc., but it's not in my list. I have quite a few weather apps but not all of them are in the notification list. Why is that? I have alerts turned on in Weatherbug and I have the paid version of the app. Any suggestions? Thanks!

If you go to Settings>> Notifications and you then have 2 sections... In Notification Center and Not in Notification Center... apps that support notification center will be there... some apps don't. Seems WxBug might be one that doesn't. I have it on my iPhone, and can not find anywhere in the app or settings for Notification Center in order to adjust the app's behavior.

Thanks Keith. That's what I figured but hoped that maybe I was missing something. Hopefully in a future update Weatherbug will have notification support.

I've been waiting for this forever. I've never bought it but I think I've read in the past that the Weather Channel's app does this. Don't quote me though.

TWC does have notification support. I just bought the paid version and it's really cool. I am a complete weather geek and can't resist a new weather app.

Me too and I haven't seen a weather app as beautiful as the new yahoo app.

Check out weathertap.com - great website - I'm weather geek enough to subscribe... which includes the mobile version of their web site.

I also have RadarScope... and RadarCast - and the My-Cast app...

While WeatherBug adds support for notifications you may use eWeather HD. This powerful app already provides (at least for a year) weather alerts and notifications about current weather for Notification Center. Also you can customize the sound of notifications by choosing from five predefined tones.
