The numbers will go down really fast every now and then. The numbers go down exponentially through time so it'll pass faster then you think. Yesterday I was at 9,500 today at 2pm I was at 2,500 so it's definitely flying by

Some initial impressions of Mailbox
No printing, no landscape, no "unread" folder, can?t access existing Gmail folders (but does create some), doesn't use signature set up in Gmail so no HTML sig, small compose window that looks like BiteSMS Quick Reply & lots of accidental swipes. Meh so far, it really is just for people that need a different way to archive mail.

The approval system is speeding up. The first 24 hours saw approval of about 10,000 people. In the last 24 hours, it's approved around 35,000. They said that approvals would grow as reservations grew, so it's good to see this happening.

Hype it up - they will come.

Seashell, I thought you'd been around long enough to know me. (How many men are named Alli anyway?!) Don't let the chemo hairstyle fool you.

So I jumped in just now. Saw the 0 behind me that started climbing one per second pretty much. It was already at 2 when I saw 0 and clicked the screen shot.

I reserved before the app launched. When it launched last Thursday I was 108,000 in line. Now on Monday I'm at around 35,000 in line. ImageUploadedByiMore Forums1360620407.434965.jpg

Hyped up or not who knows until you can try it out but for someone like me who doesn't have a lot of time to go through every email at once and read them as soon as they come in it will be handy to delete or archive with simple gestures

I'm hearing its good. Hearing its a lot like the Gmail app but with some additional features like snooze and the inbox zero. We will see sometime this week. I'm pretty content with Gmail, but this could change my mind if its good enough.

And I'm in!! I like the ease of use (archive, later, trash...) however do I seriously have to go through all my old messages?!!!! Have to figure that part out😳ImageUploadedByiMore Forums1360706661.606271.jpg

Edit: figured it out...'archive all but unread' option. And I do like if a work email comes in, I can swipe for reminder the next time I'm at work instead of keeping it in inbox and searching for it later.
