Sorry for what might be a dumb question but here goes.......

I have 4 devices (Item A - iPhone 4s, B - iPad, C-iPhone 4, D-iPod Touch) registered to the same iCloud account (one Apple ID).

Scenario: So from the 4 devices above, I am using my iPad (item B) to locate my iPhone (item A). I select to notify me when it is found.

Pre IOS 6, I would then get a notification on my iPad only (and an email) when it was found. Now I get a notification on all 4 devices that it has been found.

How can I stop this and only get a notification on the iPad (in this scenario) i.e. the device that I have requested it from.

Thanks in advance and sorry if this has been asked before.

I believe this is happening, because all devices are linked to the same Apple ID.

Thanks John. I think it is but it was the same set-up pre IOS 6.

I have tried setting up a different iCloud account for the my wife's phone (item C in the above scenario) but then she doesn't appear on my device in the 'Find my iPhone' app.
