I got mine free when it was first launched years ago. I remember being very skeptical, thinking its troublesome as the other party you want to chat with, would need to have whatsapp installed as well. Back in those days, iphones were still not as widespread, plus it was only available on iOS. Ah.. those were the days. hahaha.
