Here's an interesting app that I just found about on Twitter. It's called UpTo and it lets you share your calendar with your friends. You can add friends through Facebook, Twitter, or email, and your "stream" will show you what your friends are up to at the current moment. This includes item on their calendar, or places that they've checked into. You can also add your friends' events to your own calendar.
This looks like a great app, especially for family. However, I'm not going to share my calendar to Facebook or invite friends to use it because I'm overly cautious and weird like that, so I didn't really give the app a full run. I though some of you might be interested, though, which is why I'm telling you about it here, in the forums
