I've never had an iPad, and have not had an iPod Touch in years so the iOS notification thing is new to me. One of the first things my wife did we play Draw Something on the new iPad. Well, after the first hour, I went into the settings menu and took Draw Something out of the notification center. It is disabled, but we still get notifications when it is her turn to play.

I tried turning the iPad off and on, and that didn't help. I uninstalled the app and installed it again, but the notifications still come through.

    Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

Make sure you also turn off the notifications. (Notifications for an app are different from notifications in the notification center.)

Are you saying that there is a setting in the app itself to turn off notifications?
