finding friends on facebook

I've just got a 4s and downloaded the facebook app and one thing i can't find is finding friends on facebook. I can find the part that finds friends that i have on my phone but is there a way to find people that are not on my contact list? Thanks

I have the same problem. I can use that feature on my phone but not my iPad.

In the upper left corner, tap the box with the 3 bars in it... then, at the top, there's a "search" box...
