Get infinity blade before getting infinity blade 2?

I'm a new iPhone user and saw the news about Infinity Blade 2 releasing tonight. I'm wondering if any of y'all who have played the first one suggest getting it first, or just jump right into 2. Like I said, I'm a new iPhone user, only had my 4S for about a week and I'm still getting used to it.

I got 2, and from early impressions I would say no. The story seems very similar and the gameplay is vastly improved!

Agreed. I got 2 and from a lot of reviews and blogs, I could say that get 2 .. no need to get 1 unless of course you get it for free

I have played the first one, got that when it was released, and got IB2 when it was released. IB2 adds lots to the game play and in my opinion is way more fun. Skip IB1 and just go with IB2.
