Anyone else out there downloaded and using this VLingo App? I just downloaded it and it's pretty cool

I have and it seems to work pretty well...and it's free. if you're looking for a "Siri" knock off for the iPhone4, give it a try.

My only compliant is it doesn't talk but yes it is a cool app and for those of us still with ip4 it is a nice substitute.

I got it! Not as slick as Siri but pretty nice!! It's gonna be great for me. I can actaully respond to a text while driving now.

I downloaded it too it works pretty well. I love it for google searches.

Yeah downloaded it based on this thread. It's alright. Relies a little too much on google for most things but the text and email dictation is pretty good. It'll do but it's no Siri

Siri knockoff? VLingo has been out for years............Siri, a couple weeks.....

What's the difference between the Apple App Vlingo and the app from Vlingo's website that cost $6.99? Does the Apple App work thru a bluetooth and read text to you?

@Bob_b not sure if it works through Bluetooth i doubt it because it isn't actually apart of the iPhone's software. No Vlingo doesn't read text back to you aloud. The Apple one is free because they have some deal with Vlingo i believe

Go figure. I had this on my Blackberry and loved it. I also emailed Vlingo and they said the same thing and they stopped charging the $6.99 for it.

So there isn't an app out there for iPhone that reads texts to you as they come in, besides SIRI?

Vlingo is a great app for non-iPhone4S owners... and not only iOS user but BB too!!
