I'm proud to announced that Apple have approved my first iPhone app today.

Titled Phone Helper, the app allows you to initiate calls directly from your web browser. For example, if you're looking for a plumber on your computer, all you have to do is click on the number to initiate the call on your iPhone. Sales professionals can also take advantage of Phone Helper as it works great with tools such as Salesforce and Highrise.

A free account and a complimentary web browser extension (currently available for Safari, Chrome and Firefox) is required to use the service.

You can purchase the app for $0.99 at Phone Helper for iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad on the iTunes App Store and visit the official website to download the web browser extension and register for a free account at Phone Helper.

I look forward to your feedback.

    Francois

I'm confused. I've always been able to dial a number straight from my browser, haven't I?

It allows you to dial from your computer's web browser, not your iPhone's web browser.
