I'm visiting the States on holiday later this week and have been looking at the Foocall App to make my calls back to the UK. I am on an Orange UK monthly contract.
Has anybody used this and is it as good as it looks? According to their website, costs are 1.1p per minute from the Foocall Account by using local numbers & no extra costs are incurred as the minutes are simply deducted from my monthly allowance with Orange.
I am wary of incurring roaming charges - for example, Orange charge ?1.10 per minute! Whist in the States, I will block roaming.
So - is it as good as it looks & does anyone have any experience of the service.
Your help would be very appreciated & welcomed.
