Like the title says, I'm trying to find an application that has the ability to do a group chat similar to the Blackberry Messenger. In that it is ongoing, and you can add memebers, etc. Ping and Kik only allow the people that received an initial text and if you want to add someone to the group you have to start all over again. I.E. I want to be able to establish a Chat Group Titled "Yadda Yadda". I can invite people into the group whenever I want and it does not necessitate me sending out a new text string to start. Does that make sense? Lol And it has to be cross-platform (Iphone>Blackberry> Android, etc.)

Have been looking everywhere for a while now. Thanks in advance if anybody is able to help....

It doesn't have group chat, But LiveProfile is better than kik and actually works with BB. Kik no longer does.

Whatsapp looks awesome, but they only allow for 5 users in group chat. And they also limit your messages to only 25 characters in group.

Goodness! You're looking for a party line? Did you look at the app Ren recommended in pick of the week about 2 weeks ago? I don't recall the name, but they used it just for their group at CES.

Thanks Alli! Found it. It's "Belluga Messenger". I'll have to try it out.

I think Beluga is going to work. Thanks Alli. Just wish it had support for Blackberry as well. Oh well, it supports iPhone and Android at least. Lol

Maybe they have BB in the works. But heck...almost no one uses Blackberries anymore, right?
