I'm a "soon to be" ViP4 owner coming from a BB Storm2 . . I use and like "Google Maps" on my BB. I know that the iPhone 4 has a native "maps" app built in (I think by Google???).

Question: Should I / is there a reason to: download "Google Maps" to my new iPhone or will the native "maps" be sufficient? Is one better or worse than the other?

    thanks

Google maps on iOS should do the job. Granted it doesnt have what the maps on android have such as taking two fingers and slide down and you get a 3D view thats actully pretty darn cool. You can be in New your and see all the buildings in 3D.

to be honest I would have expected that from Apple first

You cannot download google maps for the iPhone, it is not available in the app store because it comes preloaded on the phone.
