After exercising at home for the last few months, I've now joined a gym.

I'm looking for something that can help me keep track of all the different equipment and exercises...# of reps, sets, weight, days etc.

Something that I can use to build my workout going forward, as well.

I just started using iFitness I love it. It lets you create your workouts then tracks them. You can enter notes when you are working out too and has a backup option so you don't loose all your data if something happens to your device.

I will back iFitness, as well. It has a ton of workouts and most of them contain video tutorials of how to properly perform the exercise. It has pre-loaded routines, but you can easily build your own. What I really like about them is that they're support of the app is excellent, with constant updates and new features added.

Just wanted to chime in with another vote of confidence for iFitness! I never used the record keeping functions but I looooved the in-depth instruction and description of so many different muscle exercises.

    Thanks for the replies people.
I posted the same question to the iPhone brigade on CrackBerry, and they also recommended ifitness. Overwhelmingly.
After reading up on it, and 3 pages of reviews, I'm sold.
    Besides. It's only $2.00 !!!

I just spent 3 times that so I could sit here at StarBucks, and use their wifi to download it !

It was the best but it has disappeared from the store. I can recommend another alternative - All-in fitness. A great app as well - many exercises, video, pedometer and so on. If you liked that one, you''ll like this one !
