Esplora Contenuti Digitali has published a new application for iPhone, WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS 1930 - 2010, is much more than the most detailed and complete collection of data from all of the editions of the Football World Cup from 1930 until this year?s competition in South Africa.
The application, once installed on iPhone, doesn?t require further connection to the internet as the complete database is downloaded onto the telephone, therefore all of the detailed statistics can be viewed as and when desired.
World Championship 1930-2010 opens with a list of all of the editions of the competition, at the foot of the page there are four buttons: Editions, Teams, Players and Statistics, these allow general navigation of the database with information relating to all of the editions.
In Editions there is a list of all of the World Championships, including South Africa 2010. In Teams there is the full information about all of the teams ever to have participated in the competition and in Players all of the participants in alphabetical order with essential information : date of birth, goals scored and matches played.
Finally in Statistics, you can find the information on the top scorers, the list of winners, head-to-head results and the highest scoring teams. For this section updates and further statistical information are being finalized.
The modality for navigation also provides for the selection of a specific edition of the competition and the consultation of filtered information. This provides an overview that collects all of the main information with the number of teams and matches, goals scored, winners, 2nd , 3rd and 4th placed teams. After the overview it is possible to navigate through Matches and get to know the group rounds and the games with the relative statistical information for each, in addition to being able to filter the results based on particular phases of the tournament. In Teams, however, you can find all of the information relating to all of the full squads that have ever participated in the event, with a table of information for every player plus the information about which games he played in. Finally in Statistics, for which further developments are in the pipeline, there is a list of all of the top scorers of the tournament.
