So this app is definitely my most hated. It's slow, poor quality really pisses me off. Now I've noticed the ridiculous lag when loading videos on wifi. 3G loads just fine and faster than wifi at that. Is it my wifi connection or are u experiencing the same problem?

It's you. On wifi youtube is noticeably better than 3G, barely any lag.

Yea that's how it used to be for me. Now I have to wait like 7 minutes for a damn 3 minute video to fully load.

Yeah mine is faster then 3g too but if my router screws up like it does every once in a while, then nothing will ever load.

Try resetting your router or just unplugging/plugging it back in. It's a wifi reception problem, I hope Apple uses N next time because routers broadcasting G and N at the same time give G an even worse signal than usual. I am right beside my router all day long, my iPhone NEVER gets full Wifi reception. It's just ridiculous.

I have my own problems with the YouTube app though not related to this problem.. It's a terrible app that needs a huge revision, and the iPad version is unfortunately not much better.

Yea it really does need a makeover. This problem has been going on for the past month or two. QuickTime videos load just fine, as always with great quality. U think maybe I should call my ISP?

I don't think it's their problem, and I don't think they can fix it unfortunately. This is an iPhone problem that Apple doesn't particularly care to address because they think everyone should be using their products for everything Anyone who isn't using airport express routers, by Apple's definition, is taking their chances.
