My credit card wants to slap me, but I self-justify by saying I'll be reviewing a lot of them. Yeah, that's it.

- Brushes
- Twitterrific
- Dungeon Hunter
- Wall Street Journal
- Real Racing HD
- Asphalt HD
- Words with Friends HD

A bunch of my iPhone apps updated as universal as well, like Instapaper, PCalc, Evernote, etc.

I'm sure I'll be getting more tonight as well.

Dagnabit Apple!

TapTyping

I've downloaded my own app TapTyping to master using the virtual keyboard.

I can't wait to try it on an actual device!

I accidentally bought 1Password for iPad before I read about the 1Password Pro Uni-Bi :(

Just got Articles for iPad.

I can't get ABC or Netflix because I'm apparently an undeserving Canadian. Also, Numbers, Pages, and Keynote aren't showing up in the Canadian App Store either :(

Off to find some more!

Damn they are sucking Rene in deep into the App Store. Kinda bummed, I've wondered why BBC didn't have any iPhone app. Now they have an iPad app naturally for the iPad only.

What does the uni-binary mean really? The same app will run on both iPhone and iPad, will it have a different UI on the iPad or just pixel double.

Universal binaries should identify the device and show an optimized UI for that device, so smaller and mode modal on iPhone/iPod touch, bigger and with popovers on iPad.

BTW, the iPhone game LightBike is awesome on the iPad in 2x. I could hardly play it on iPhone, but it's great on the iPad (Ok, I'm a Tron-junkie, so I'm biased). I was also surprised at how good (or at least not horrible) FF1 with its retro graphics scaled up to 2x looks.

im trying so hard to resist, but I've already taken the plunge on these:

Flight Control HD

Numbers
Goodreader
MLB At-Bat 2010

Holding out on the expensive games, hoping theyll come down in price soon.

Me too. Not that it was expensive but I noticed that Smule's Magic Piano has already dropped from $2.99 (when I bought it) to $0.99

I paid early adopter prices for many early apps that weren't all that great quality when the iPhone App Store first launched in 2008. I'm trying to exhibit some patience this time around. I think prices for good iPad apps will always be higher than iPhone-only app prices (and for good reason), but I also think they will come down a bit from where they are now.
