We came up with the idea during the Iranian elections, said Scott Mills, Peephole developer and IFWORLD co-founder. There were so many tweets coming out of Iran with newsworthy images that people wanted to see. Unfortunately, viewing images on your iPhone at that time took 2-3 clicks per tweet.

Priced at $1.99 on the iTunes App Store, Peephole will be available for both the iPhone and iPod Touch. It can be purchased from the App Store on Wednesday by going to iTunes Store.
