I recently read an article on iPhone Alley's blog: Apple Allows Porn App Into App Store | iPhone Alley - news

Seems again Apple needs to really address the crappy app approval process they have. Maybe they need to hire more people, I don't know but it needs to be fixed b/c it's hurting us. We need Guidelines!!!

Think about it. Google Voice gets taken out, and all these calendar apps are still there. Doesn't a calendar app duplicate the iPhone's features? What about GVMobile? That duplicates the iPhone's features too. But the voice app got taken out... why do you think that is? Because any free voice app would hurt ATT Wireless's sales. Calendar don't hurt, free voice hurts. So I would be willing to bet that ATT Wireless made Apple take it out.

It's not a free voice app. You still have to use your voice minutes when using Google Voice. This is not a voip application.

But I believe international rates are cheaper with GV. I haven't used it (although I have a number), so I could be wrong.

Would anyone in their right mind make intl calls from their cell phone? I wouldn't!

Totally agree, Justin. Making international calls from your cell phone means you pay twice once for int'l and once for minutes. That's daft.

Totally agree. I would never make international calls using my iPhone, crazy talk... This is my biggest problem & I totally agree with "ctt1wbw", if they want to deny GV based on it duplicating phone features then they should be denying all of the apps that duplicate SMS, Calendar, & Picture features. Apple just needs to get organized, implement new understandable guidelines, and understand where the consumer/developers are coming from. Stop thinking like IBM (lol).
