Back when I was actually doing some fighting, I did things similar to you. If someone tried to kill me through sanctions, but failed, I just homed in on them. Particularly if I found one who was financially well off, I'd take 'em for all they're worth. That's how I got so many deaths. Their only recourse is to sanction you over and over. The funny part is, each time I died, it would put their name back in my comments list, so I'd go after them again.
My biggest single haul was 7 million. I forget who I got that from but it was a nice payout, let me tell you.
I don't understand why this is frowned upon when everyone can bank their cash whenever they want to. I rarely lose anything because I am scrupulous about banking it.
As for the other issue, someone raised, about putting a comment on your profile to the effect that you are camping and to please not attack, I have been camping for over a week now, and do not take offense at being attacked. I realize some people are just getting experience from this, and have no problem with it. Few have attacked me repeatly, and some have even apologized for having done. In the end, it's up to however you want to conduct yourself in the game. All it's costing me is a hit to my wins/losses ratio, which I am proud to say, is still pretty good.
The only conduct I find truly objectionable is that of certain persons who create a new character for the sole purpose of posting pornographic or vulgar comments in other's profiles. I've seen some of this and think it is pretty pathetic. Also those who do it always seem to be newbies, maybe created for this reason. I guess that sort will always be with us.
