Photogene is nice, there is also an app called cropulator, I think it's .99, look through all the image editing apps, most of them do cropping and some of them are free.

When I need to crop photos on my iPhone, I just zoom and pan into the area I want and take a screenshot (power+home) for a perfectly cropped image for free!!! Hope this helps. Much love.

The photoshop mobile app is what I use, and it's free. You can crop, as well as add a few filters if you like. It's a pretty handy app. Check it out!

    You may use Unusual crop:

Unusual crop lets you crop and share photos. Wonderful shapes makes your photos awesome!

    How it works?
    1. Select any photo from your camera roll or take a picture using in-app camera..
    2. Crop it with some attractive shape and choose background color.
    3. Add some text below your crop photo and share it on Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Vkontakte. Also you can save pictures to your photo library. And enjoy

Thank you for the tip on this app and I just use the Native Camera app and do it for free. I do understand though the need people have for 3rd party apps. Good luck.
