I am looking to switch from my iPod recorder to using my iPhone to record interviews....can anyone recommend a good iPhone voice recorder with easy transfer capabilities to my desktop (e-mail transfer would be nice)? Thanks.

At the moment I've been using Griffin's iTalk. It does the job with a desktop client which assumes you use WiFi. Any reason why you want email?

There are two or three that have been reviewed. I don't recall which was the best, but I think a lot depends on what "extras" you are looking for - emailing memos, wireless sync, etc.

My phone before the iPhone had great audio-note capabilities - it seems odd that a basic recorder wasn't included with the iPhone! Great to see the alternatives out there, however.
