I recently noticed that my "Digital Copy" of Wall-E was encoded at 853X356. Does anyone know of any software with will create these resolution files for the iPhone?
It is probably because I am an ***** but I can't actually get the video that Handbrake has worked on onto my iPod (no iphone yet but hoping soon ). Once it finished, Handbrake automatically set the icon up to be on my desktop. I dragged it to iTunes but the video will not go over. I know it has to be something simple but I have read the wiki over at Handbrake and am just not getting it.
i need to rip my dvds first since they are proteceted...what software should i use?
DVD Smith is freeware and is great if you just copy DVD to your hard drive. For DVD to DVD copying, I recommended Movie DVD Copy. It is a pretty good DVD Copy program that rip protected DVDs. I've been using it all the time and never miss backing up a DVD. These two software can be found at movie-dvd-copy.com
Wow, either your computer is VERY slow, which I doubt, or something is not right...
I *am* using Mac and used to use Handbrake (but they no longer support OS10.4.) Even when they did, it often took 10 hours or longer to rip a DVD, for me at least. I'd love to find something that works with 10.4.
BTW, my first post to this forum.
I was using videora but when it finishes converting movies for my Iphone it fails to add them to Itunes. Anyone had have any suggestions for this? thanks
Thery usefll theme, thx for your help. I have problems with convetation and ripping everytime. Do you know anything about special services, which make for-iphone-format films? After search i find (films-iphone.blogspot.com), it was great if you post your links))
I've used "avex to dvd" ripper for almost two years and its great!! it records at double -speed, so if it's a 1hr movie it will rip it in 30min. I've never had a problem with it and it works great.
i use a combination of dvd decrypter for the ripping, it even removes the DRM !!
and handbrake, works flawlessely. although whats the difference between the normal ipod/iphone settings and the "legacy" settings? i did one movie with both settings, but i didnt see a noticable difference.
Hi there everyone!
New to the forums, followed the blog for a while so... hi!
I have been skimming through this thread but I can't seem to figure out if people are having the same problem as I do.
This is what happens to me.
I want to put a movie on my new iphone 3gs.
I downloaded Handbrake, latest version.
I enter the VIDEO TS as the source and then I select Iphone as preset for the video output.
Then I start the conversion. I end up with a file right, but the visual and sound is all green and pixelated and the sound is lagging.
So I am thinking this might be a DVD protection thing? Or am I doing something wrong? Somebody was mentioning running a "DVD3Esomething" in the background while Handbrake is converting the movie. Would this solve the problem?
I tried iSkysoft today... bit too slow for my liking but does the job, then tried videora ...had to uninstall it - it makes your pc a dinosaur...
finally ended up geting a trial of cucusoft, will post back how it goes
