I use Toodledo and I manage my tasks on the PC using the Toodledo plugin for Firefox, very handy and flexible. I can even sync my tasks with Ouylook if I want (but I do not use Outlook for managing tasks anymore).

Appigo's Todo all the way. Combined with Toodledo sync, I am very comfortable using this combo. I also use Appigo's Notebook (it communicates well with Todo, ex. convert a note in Notebook to a task in Todo, very handy).

Weird. Seems like the app was pulled? I also don't see any mention of it on JOTT's site.

I use Toodledo's own app "Toodledo" in conjunction with Appigo's "Notebook" (which also syncs OTA with Toodledo). "To-Do" is also excellent and IMO, does pretty much the same job as "Toodledo."

No one has tried listomni? I've been using it for awhile now and really like it. There have been several updates to add new native lists and features. I don't sync lists with my computer, I just keep them on the iPhone to check.

    Listomni is $6.99.

Does the app. sync/save your info? For me, that's a MUST (backing up info. I wouldn't feel safe JUST having the info on the phone).

I'm a bit biased on this one since I wrote it, but try out our free app Listable (search for "Listable" in the iTunes store, or go to listableapp.com). It automatically syncs with a web service, and allows you to share lists seamlessly. It also does push notifications so that others can see what you've done on your lists. Finally, it has an "Activity Feed" for a Facebook-like view of changes that other people have made to your lists.

It's an early version, so feedback is appreciated!

I've been using notify me for regular or one-offs where I don't want to have to check an app.
I have zenbe lists for lists of things.

    both have an off-phone aspect
