I've looked at rumored prototypes of the new design, and not all are the same. While I'm not "wild" about the rumored "hump", I would still buy the phone- especially if it offers an awesome camera.

As long as neither of my devices, I’ll be passing on the next iPhone. The only reason I have the XS is because my 8 decided it hated life & went all crazy LOL. My X is, also, a solid device, so I’ll just chill with these two for a while.

If I’m not mistaken, this is the longest I’ve held onto an iPhone. On top of that, I know the introduction of the newer models are approximately 4 months away, but I’m not feeling any kind of desire to get rid of my iPhone X. It truly has been a solid device for me.

It’s definitely the longest you’ve held onto an iPhone LOL...but rightfully so. The X is easily my fave iPhone.

A good deal of people place their iPhones face down which in turn allows them to always see the camera hump...

My telephone company allows me to upgrade after 12 months for $149 so I’ll definitely be signing a new contract with the new iPhone come September. I get a new phone every year

Honestly if a camera upgrade and a “chip” upgrade is all Apple has to offer this year I’ll probably stick with my XS Max. FaceID got me to get the X, the bigger size was the only reason I got the XS Max.

I’m waiting for them to do something to make it worthwhile for me to upgrade this year and a third camera just isn’t going to cut it.

That’s pretty much a given since the iPhone XS already has a better camera than the p30.

When I first saw the leaks a few months ago, I thought it was hideous. Now with time nearing closer to the keynote, the camera bump has grown on me, but I have no desire to upgrade my XS Max until 2020. I kept my X for 18 months before upgrading to the XS Max, which was the longest that I’ve ever kept a device. I’ve always upgraded every year until 2018. The camera bump on the X/XS/XS Max kind never bothered me, as I tend to find cases to make it sit flush with the bump and if the case isn’t, at least it’s protecting the lens.

Spec-wise the P30 has an edge over the XS with further zoom (though without OIS) and an ultra wide camera, plus a highly-praised AI night mode. But the iPhone 11 camera reminds me of this:



Will the iPhone 11 (Pro) have a great camera? Yes. Will the iPhone 11 (Pro) be much of an upgrade from the iPhone XS? I hope so, but it doesn’t look like it.

Either way, fans of Mickey Mouse should love the iPhone 11 if the leaks are true.

We already went through this the 2018 iPhone has a better camera than the p30 unless you want a pink Eiffel tower. You even falsely claimed the iPhone XS Max couldn’t do 4K @60fps, before admitting it could. The p30 still can’t. Guess your pushing your fud again.

Thought you said you were done in the other thread, not really surprised you weren’t.

The p30 wasn’t very successful against the xs max or the iPhone XR, especially in China, don’t know why you keep bring it up.

Maybe the iPhone 11 Camera is like a Rorschach test, and everyone sees what they are accustomed to .
