7 faster than the 8?

I've had the 8 for a couple of weeks now and Im encountering slight lag on various actions, from opening apps through to scrolling. Never had these issues with 7 which was so smooth and fast. Anyone else had these issues or is it just me ??

I am having issues with my home button (ip8)The haptic feedback stops working and then the phone restarts. I am definitely having issues and am scheduled to go in for repair on sunday.

Mine was a little sluggish but resolved once official 11.1 was released.
