Can anyone with the iPhone 8 tell if the signal strength is better than the iPhone 7. The glass back on the iPhone 8 should help out antennas.
    Thanks,
    Vinny

Yes, i had the 7/7 plus and 8 is way better, have tested it through rural areas here last few weeks and its excellent.
It's a bluetick phone in Australia which means better reception in rural areas and they don't give it out lightly, the plus didn't get it last iPhone that did was the 6S not plus.
This is tested by our biggest Telco Telstra which has the biggest coverage.

    Hope that helps.

I had the 7 Plus and now I have the 8 Plus. I still have the same 2 of 4 bars at home (thank you Wi-Fi) and between 1 & 2 bars at work.

The signal strength meter is basically the same. Great in some areas, good in others. With that in mind, call quality appears a little better, but not by much. I haven’t had any dropped calls or anything, but it was the same with my iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus.
